worked on aforementioned kiddo valentines last night
our engineer wants to give a Lego themed treat to his school friends...
Lego candy...you can actually build with!
& it tastes like yummy sweet tarts
find it at The Fresh Market
cut the trimmings for bag.
candy is small, so to fill the bags a little more
we added shredded filler &
put a couple of paper hearts on top of filler so the candy
sits on top doesn't get too lost it the shreds
bag it up
last step still to do
add a card tag that says
"Don't lego of my heart Valentine!"
walla! cute little Lego treat for his friends
our itty bittiest wants to give his friends gum balls

where does it go?
From Halloween until after the first week of January,
time always moves at warp speed for me.
So many fun things to do & see with family & friends!
BYB is also always super busy & exciting starting in the fall.
The holiday orders, college football orders, regular orders
+ BYB shows...
Christmas flew by so fast this year!
We celebrated early with our family in Georgia...
we got to see this GIANT, real gingerbread house...
it smelled so yummy in there!
but according to my little tasters...it did not taste as good as it smelled!
(do you like their turtlenecks? thinking of adding them
to our BYB's styles for next Fall. That is one of our
Simply Said Monograms printed on them)
Christmas morning...
they loved their Back Yard Buddies!! : )
and KAYAKS!...
Then off to Alabama to do Christmas with family there
& to celebrate our oldest baby's 7 Birthday!!!
I can not believe he is 7!
Of course for the 4th year in a row our
little nature boy wanted
a "camo birthday at the farm with his cousins"...
scavenger hunts...
fishing
marshmellow bow & arrows,
bb guns, campfire roasted hot dogs & smores,
pinata, presents, cake, tractor rides &
lizard catching,
make for a happy 7 year old boy!!...
Then New Years...
A whirlwind of fun & excitement
with family & friends
over the past 4 months!
When things slow down a bit the first week in January
I always start to think about my priorities
Because work is always so hectic in the Fall,
it makes it fall in the wrong order a lot of the time.
This year's New Years Resolution:
Keep things in this order:
• God
• Family
• Work
Even so, we have LOTS of very exciting things coming
to Back Yard Baby in 2012!!!
Can't wait to share it with you!
Bringing some new friends on board to Back Yard Baby,
I am hoping will help me to stick to my resolution!! ; )
